Name: Urogard Bladder Tea
Active ingredients: dry extracts of birch leaves, Orthosiphon leaves and golden rod.
Therapeutic indication: For flushing the urinary tract when affected by inflammatory diseases and to prevent kidney stones. See a doctor if blood appears in the urine, in case of fever, or if symptoms persist for longer than 5 days.
Composition: After dissolving, 3.2 g (1 scoop) granules for oral use contains the following active ingredients: 138 mg dry extract of birch leaves (4.3 – 7.7 : 1), extraction solvent: water, 83 mg dry extract of Orthosiphon leaves (4.5 – 7.1 : 1), extraction solvent: water, 68 mg dry extract of golden rod (5.0 – 7.1 : 1), extraction solvent: water and the other ingredients: glucose monohydrate (Ph. Eur.), sucrose (sugar), lactose monohydrate, glucose syrup, maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, bitter fennel oil, anise oil, juniper berry oil, peppermint oil, lemon oil.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity (allergy) to birch leaves, birch pollen, golden rod, Orthosiphon leaves, peppermint oil or one of the other ingredients; flushing treatment not to be used with oedema caused by heart or kidney failure, rare inherited fructose intolerance, glucose galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency or oedema (water retention in tissues) caused by impaired heart or kidney function.
Pregnancy and lactation: Not to be used.
Side effects: Very rare: gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea) or allergic reactions (skin rash, swelling, irritation).
