What is urea?

Urea is a natural component of the skin. It is an end product of the metabolism (of amino acids, for example). Urea is distributed on the skin of the entire body via the sweat glands, and that is a good thing, because the substance is an important component of the protective skin barrier. Urea binds moisture, gives the skin elasticity and protects it from drying out.

What is callus and how does it overproduce?

Callus is a natural barrier that protects our feet against moisture loss and external influences. Under normal circumstances, there is a balance between the cornification process of the skin cells and their desquamation in the horny layer. However, heavy use and lack of care can lead to dehydration and the formation of excessive calluses.
